President Obama's 100 Days. Divide & Conquer tactics. Rep. Steve King, (R-IA) Congressman King, from Iowa's 4th District, who serves on the Agriculture and Small Business Committees as well as in the Judiciary and others, calls in from his District and comments on the "President's divisive politics" and notes the problem that has become Benghazi that "is not going away, becoming bigger than Fast & Furious, and Watergate." He notes: "there is a sense of distrust," from the American people. Mr. King speaks of Obama's first 100 days into his second term and points to the problems with Immigration and the difficulties for Senator Rubio, "sharing the table with the likes of Durbin (D), Schumer (D) and Menendez (D).And he explains in detail the problems with the proposed bill that will legalize 11 million illegal immigrants within 6 months, although Senator Rubio has asserted that "it will not pass the House." Congressman King speaks of the problems in Border Security and its control in the hands of Homeland Security's Secretary Napolitano. mp3
Organizing for America. How's it working for Iowans. Congressman Steve King (R-IA) Congressman King stated "Barack Obama started his movement in Iowa and now Organizing for America is now institutionalized..." Mr. King explains how the Iowa Caucus enticed then Candidate Obama from neighboring Illinois, to "start his foundational 'Obama for America,' full time employees in 2008 who remained until the 2012 elections and have now converted into 'Organizing for America,' a Democrat operated" [machinery] "perpetually raising money". He also notes "President Obama will not"[after leaving office] "just walk away into the sunset,"[but will use it] "as a vehicle" to achieve his transformational goals. He comments on the effects of Obamacare on small businesses in Iowa. Congressman King also speaks on a recent article in The New York Times on the "Pigford scandal" described as a""a runaway train, driven by racial politics, pressure from influential members of Congress and law firms that stand to gain more than $130 million in fees." When asked what prompted the NYT to write an article on a program that Mr. King (and the late Andrew Breitbart) had once called "rife with fraud," he explained that the "reporter smelled a rat," and details the political conspiracies and shenanigans. mp3
Political Implications. Pigford Scandal. Congressman Steve King (IA) Congressman King concludes the interview by explaining how he took an interest (6 years ago?)on the Pigford scandal (The number of money settlements to Black farmers has grown from 400 to 94,000 including Hispanics and female farmers, $4.4 billion, as reported in the Times article,) "after receiving a cardboard box" from an employee in the DOA in Iowa, with proof that "more than 75% of the cases were fraudulent." Congressman King, who was very much criticized for taking a stand, has now been vindicated by the New York Times article. w When asked if it was worth it, to stand on principle, he does not hesitate to reply yes and to further describe the corruption and the methods employed by the left to divide the country by race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, something that he calls "the worse, illegal SIN...," to achieve political gains... He also comments on the Boston bombings and how political correctness has resulted in our letting our guard down, "handicapping ourselves." He closes the interview discussing his potential run for the senate seat of Democrat Senator Harkin. mp3
