Andrea Bozek speaks to RARadio on the second anniversary of Obamacare, the President’s signature legislation and for which he plans no celebrations! Ms. Bozek comments on the Supreme Court hearings on the “individual mandate,” scheduled for March 26-28. Ms. Bozek points to the effects that the legislation will have on small businesses and notes that Americans, at least 2/3 of the country, reject it outright. When asked about the goals of the NRCC during the election cycle, she replied: …”making OBAMACARE an issue.” For her, it is “hurting the economy, creating uncertainty.” Ms. Bozek also speaks of the Keystone Pipeline and the failed Clean Energy projects (Solyndra), and mentions the loss of thousands of jobs…, as a result of the president, “kowtowing to his extreme base.” mp3
Segment 2 The IRS and The Teaparty. Persecution. Dan Backer, Esq. Principal, DB Capitol Strategies Mr. Backer, who was the lead “counsel in the groundbreaking 2011 case, ‘Carey vs. FEC’ which relieved Pacs of some restrictions on accepting contributions,” speaks to RARadio of his helping “pro bono” many of the Tea Party organizations, and specifically The TeaParty.net. And he explains how the IRS has been targeting more than 100 conservative grass roots organizations, while only one single democrat (Obama’ Super pac). Mr. Backer comments on the letter sent to the IRS on March 14 by Republican Senators in which they plead to the IRS commissioner that the agency stop exerting pressure on the tea parties. That pressure consists in the IRS asking the small grassroots organizations to identify and disclose (while not required) the names of all donors and contributors and making it difficult for them to apply for 501 (c) 4 status. Mr. Backer explains the difference between Pacs and Super Pacs and how they are affecting the election process. “For the first time, the two-party system , has seen the eruption of third party committees, that with resources, can influence and engage in the political process and[ ultimately], more voters have a say…” mp3
Segment 3 Clean Energy. Science and Facts. Jeff Nesbit, Author , journalist and ED of Climate Nexus Mr. Nesbit speaks to RAradio about his very diverse career, from writing novels and thrillers (19), a weekly column in the US News and World Report to running/working in different organizations , including the National Science Foundation under the Bush –Obama Administrations. For Mr. Nesbit the discussion has turned economic and political. For him, the focus should be on how we transition from using fossil fuels to clean energy. And he explains that at the turn of the century at least 1million persons worked in the coal mines while today, 70,000 have “desk offices” with only 17,000 miners…Mr. Nesbit notes that the extraction of oil is limited and that moving to clean energy, solar, is preferable… mp3
“Peace & Oil.” Turbulent times. Jeff Nesbit, Author , journalist and ED of Climate Nexus Mr. Nesbit, speaks of his book “Peace” written several years ago where he describes the Israel-Iran conflict (with the latter being attacked by the former)-something which could happen any day… Mr. Nesbit affirms Iran’s nuclear intentions and points that evidence of nuclear weapons is there. The Book “Oil,” to be released June 1, also mentions plausible scenarios, (where any of the Oil producing countries in the ME, were to be attacked), the “shock produced would be something we have never seen…, with big surges in oil prices,” and detrimental effects on the world economies… Mr. Nesbit also comments on Science education, the young, and the competition . He notes how important it is that young people continue their interest in the “hard sciences” after middle school, and speaks of the series of Children’s books he is writing… A third book “Temple,” is also in the works and will deal with the Temple Mount and the three religions that have a claim to it… mp3

For Mr. Horn these results prove that “Mr. Romney, (who holds the largest number of declared delegates), did not have a good night.” And, “one reason for this, is that Mr. Romney is not reaching or connecting with the base of the Republican Party.” Mr. Santorum and his ‘mining parentage’ values echoed with the voters . Mr. Horn also explains that Mr. Romney was not given credit for the “spectacular” wins of Super Tuesday (March 6th) when he won 6 out of 10 primaries. Mr. Horn concludes the interview by noting that “the Race is not decided yet" and there may still be a “brokered convention” because none of the candidates will have the 1144 votes needed for the nomination,” if the process continues in this way… mp3

Ms. Goessling gives background information on the case and explains how (and why)the “EPA re-wrote the Clean Air Act passed by Congress in 2007,” the explanation of which was not “very well received by the 3 judge panel.” For Ms. Goessling there are “two national litigation cases that will end up in the US Supreme Court, Obamacare and the EPA.” The public should be aware that the “EPA’s regulatory scheme will have no effect on global climate, 4 million jobs will be lost if implemented, and the costs will be extraordinary, above $1 trillion.” mp3

Sharon Goessling, Executive Director and Chief Legal Counsel Ms. Goessling speaks of her organization's involvement in many cases, for example, the one against President Clinton, its lawyers filing " the initial complaint with the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, seeking disciplinary measures for lying under oath and obstructing justice in a federal trial. SLF efforts resulted in President Clinton surrendering his law license while in office, later affirmed as disbarment in the U.S. Supreme Court...." Ms. Goessling is adamant that "we will prevail in the case (against the EPA) and notes that Congress can correct this, by defunding the EPA...." The View from Abroad. Republicans in Spain. James Levy James Levy, a resident of Spain for the last twenty years works in private banking and since 2005 is the Chair of RA Spain. Mr. Levy is frequently sought after the Spanish media for his political insights. Mr. Levy discusses the new Spanish conservative government that replaced the Socialist government last fall, and the economic reforms they are trying to implement...the austerity measures that provoked the ire of the Communist leader to call his party followers to "arms." Mr. Levy, commented that although it seems incredible that a European country in this day and age could still have a Communist party, one did exist in Spain... Mr. levy also speaks of the green energy experiments (solar and wind) in Spain and which failed but, surprisingly, Obama still admires and wants to replicate in the US... Mr. Levy also points to the difficult cases that Italy and Greece present, both nations soon on the verge of losing their "sovereignty... to Germany...", something that could easily happen to the US...with China. When asked about President Obama's call to "class warfare," Mr. Levy recalls President Bush and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, that the latter would never have pulled the troops, in a hurry, from those countries just to satisfy the electorate... Is President Obama a socialist? Why is it not an adequate term to use when describing President Obama? For Mr. Levy, a socialist looks to the government for every solution and he speaks of Spain as an example and points to the failed policies of the Socialist government. mp3
The View from Abroad.Republicans in Spain. James Levy Mr. Levy is optimistic and wants to conclude on a positive noe. With regards to the attack on "religious liberty", he believes Obama has committed an "unbelievable blunder.." For him and other Americans living overseas, the US is not that far away today, thanks to the internet. In the case of voter registration, Mr. Levy notes the many state and county websites offering registration tools as well as the FVAP.gov. When asked about his counterparts, members of Democrats Abroad...he replies, that although he has counts many friends amongst them, they are "lying low," and are much more scared, finding it hard to defend the Democrat's record... mp3

"Fifty three years later, at 90 miles from our shores, with a friendly populace, who love the US," the Ambassador says, that it's time to change course... mp3

Civil Disobedience. The "Rights of Conscience and Religious Liberty." Dr. Michael Reber Dr. Michael Reber, Member, Republicans Abroad Japan, author, consultant, professor and publisher of the "Bastiat Revival Blog," speaks to RAradio from Tokyo, Japan. A self-proclaimed libertarian, Dr. Reber published in his blog on February 4th, a letter in support of "Catholic Civil Disobedience," citing the First Amendment, Freedom of Religion. Dr. Reber speaks of the letter issued by the Catholic Bishops in defiance of President Obama's Health care mandate that religious institutions, (in this case, Catholic hospitals) be forced to provide contraceptives, abortion, the "day after pill," in violation of the Church's precepts and teachings! Dr. Reber speaks of the "Rights of Conscience Act" of 1973 and the Constitution, and points to the President's attack on the First Amendment, "the right to freedom of religion," with his healthcare mandate. He also mentions the latest efforts by Senators Rubio and Blunt to present HR 1179, reinforcing the "Rights of Conscience" Act. It is based on these actions by the President and his Administration that Dr. Reber calls for the impeachment of President Obama. For him, the President's actions in forcing his HC mandate on institutions and people is much worse than what then President Bill Clinton did-who, lest we forget, lied under oath. For Dr Reber, the President is "tearing up the Constitution and using veto power and so-called Executive Orders to tighten the hangman's halter of socialism around our necks." mp3
Judicial Watch. The case against Political Corruption. The guest, Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch did not have phone reception and therefore was not interviewed. C. Dillon, host of show, gave a short presentation of the mission of Judicial Watch, "a non partisan organization that seeks to promote transparency, integrity and accountability in government." In its website it lists the 10 most corrupt politicians of the moment including the President of the United States, Barack Obama, and his Attorney General Eric Holder. Cases against the president are listed, for example: Solyndra,a company, "which filed for bankruptcy in September 2011, leaving 1,100 workers without jobs and American taxpayers on the hook for $535 million, thanks to Obama's stimulous loan guaranty..."; ACORN, now re-named AHCOA (Affordable Housing Centers of America), an association to which"Obama funneled $730,000 ...;CZARS, their appointment and their unlimited powers...; SS White House Visitor's log-.Judicial Watch was successful in getting access to it;LABOR RELATIONS (AFL-CIO, SEIU, ACORN, NLRB (National Labor Relations Board that prevented Boeing from opening a 750 million non-union assembly line in SC) and last but not least, his "Chicago dealings," with Tony Rezco, sentenced to jail and Gov. Blagojevitch, also sentenced to prison ( a mere 14 years). Interesting is the fact that "the FBI continues to withhold from JW documents of its historic interview of then Senator Obama about the Illinois corruption scandal.." Also on the website, 22 questions are asked of the Presidential candidates, including President Obama. For example, would the next president, ban the funding of ACORN; will the Justice Department continue with the investigation on voter registration fraud and misconduct by ACORN; will the US Military be used to secure the border with Mexico; will the documents pertaining to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae be made public? etc. mp3
The Jewish Vote. New York. Marc Zell, Co Chairman, RA Israel Co Chairman Marc Zell speaks about RA's efforts to get out the vote in Israel, one of the largest communities of American expats. He also mentions his visit to the US and his meetings with different Republican leaders. He points to the successful campaign in New York, the seat won by Bob Turner, a Catholic who received the support of Orthodox Jews and former Mayor of NYC, Ed Koch. That "seat" was propelled into the news by the Democrat, Anthony Weiner, of twitter "exhibitionist" fame. mp3
Middle East turmoil. Israel. Marc Zell, Co Chairman, Israel Mr. Zell explains what it is like to be in the focus point of the ME, so near Iran...Its highest religious figure, the Ayatollah Khameini,as recently as last week , proclaimed, "Israel is a cancerous tumour that should be cut and will be cut." For, Mr. Zell explains that the situation is dire, a small country with only 6 million inhabitants cannot defend itself against a country that has the capability of using nuclear weapons/WMD!. And, this Administration's policies have not made things easier, quite the contrary... As published in several news sites, Leon Panetta, Secretary of Defense, has exclaimed that Israel will attack Iran in April, May or June, sending, perhaps, mixed signals...as expressed by others, who insist that the Administration "is using the threat of Israeli military attack to influence Iranian behavior at the same time it positions itself to avoid any responsibility for an attack...the Dirty Harry of the Middle east!"
